I’m a bass player in my mid twenties, based in Holland, crazy about music and a performing electric and double bass player.
That’s my biography in a nutshell!
The electric bass is by far my favorite instrument. It is a young instrument and has been used in all kinds of music already. Since I studied jazz, and my heart cries rock ‘n roll, I really formed a strong connection with the bass.
The first time I heard an electric bass, I think it was on a live DVD of rock artist Marilyn Manson, I decided that I wanted to have one. At the age of 13, my musical development and curiosity started, never to weaken.
